We are not licensed as healing arts practitioners by the State of California or by any other state. Stin-Niels Musche holds a German licence as Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie. That licence applies in Germany only and gives him no authority to practise in the United States, where he does not do so.

If you are in treatment

Keep your doctor or therapist in the loop before using hypnosis on yourself, and do not stop or change any prescribed treatment because of something you learned here. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis line in your area rather than a workshop.

What hypnosis can and cannot do

Hypnosis is a natural state and a skill that can be learned. It is not magic, it does not work identically for everyone, and it does not fix everything. We say so on our sales pages too, which is unusual and deliberate.

We make no promise about any result, for you or for the clients you may go on to work with. Individual experiences differ. Statements from participants describe what happened to them and are not a prediction about what will happen to you.

Certification is not a licence

Our certificates, and those issued through NGH and ICBCH, document completed training. In the United States the rules for hypnosis practice differ from state to state, and some states restrict certain titles or activities. Find out what applies where you work before you take clients. That is your responsibility, not ours.

The retreat
