Information we collect

You give us: name and email when you sign up for HypnoCampus or our emails; name, email and background when you contact us or enroll; billing details when you buy something, handled by our payment providers; anything you write to us.

Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data from cookies and similar technologies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for health information and request that you do not send it. If you do anyway, see our Consumer Health Data Notice.

Why we use it

• To deliver what you signed up for: platform access, live sessions, certificates, support.
• To answer your questions.
• To send emails about our material and offers, where you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To measure and improve the site, and to advertise, where you have consented.
• To meet legal and tax obligations and to protect our rights.

Who receives it

We use service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Hosting: united-domains GmbH, Starnberg, Germany. The website is served from servers in Germany.
• Forms: handled by our own script on that same server. No external form service is involved.
• Payments: Stripe, PayPal and Digistore24. They receive the data needed to process your payment and act as independent controllers for it.
• Learning platform: Memberspot, for account access and course delivery.
• Live sessions: Zoom.
• Applications for the retreat: Google Forms.
• Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, only after you consent.
• Embedded content: YouTube and ProvenExpert, which load only after you click.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Using Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel does count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Our representative in the European Union

Under Article 27 GDPR we have appointed a representative in the European Union. People in the EU and supervisory authorities may contact them on all matters concerning the processing of personal data:

You may contact the representative instead of us, in German or English. Doing so does not reduce any of your rights against us.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our website is hosted in Germany, so your data crosses borders in both directions. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Account and course records for as long as you hold an account and then as long as tax and commercial law requires, generally up to ten years for invoices. Email subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for up to three years. Analytics data according to the retention settings of the tool, at most 14 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold and get a copy of it,
• correct it,
• have it deleted,
• opt out of the sale or sharing of it and of targeted advertising,
• limit the use of sensitive personal information,
• object to or restrict processing, and to data portability, if the GDPR applies to you,
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what happened before,
• not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Write to info@wisdomheroes.com. We will verify your identity by matching the details you give us against our records, and answer within 45 days, or one month where the GDPR applies. You may use an authorized agent.

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser.

Complaints

If the GDPR applies to you, you may complain to a supervisory authority in your country. California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the Attorney General.

Children

Our offerings are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections and access to personal data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We review this policy at least once a year. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
